The news this week saying that HP has been talking with Samsung\HTC on
licensing WebOS and building up WebOS ecosystem. But these manufacturers
were not interested as HP was producing mobile devices that were competing
with them. To show its firm determination, HP abandoned its hardware
business immediately and announced that it is going to expand its software
services and focus on WebOS platform development only.
