memory: only 512M
cpu: undervolt to 800MHz
browsing: no flash now and in the future
camera: bad
garageband/imovie: buggy
battery life算是另外一个亮点，但是用mp4来测试，就是测gpu得硬解功率了。

他/她指的是那个评测网页中给出的一些结果，比如网页浏览的速度，差别相当大。我
的今天升级到新系统，没有做过什么测试，界面看上去没有区别。最实际的功能，屏幕
旋转功能固定又可以回到侧面的那个按钮，在设置里选。
看来每个用户的使用相法不一样，我周围的人大多数都没有jbreak，见到的两次都是国
内过来的，jbreak后上面装了10几页的东西，游戏玩儿得可投入了。我这儿3页还没过
呢。呵呵

internet browsing, which is WAY BETTER on Xoom than it is on Ipad2. Here is
why
1) The quick control system on Honeycomb browser allows you to do back,
forward, refresh, stop, bookmark and goto settings using your thumbs when
still holding the tablet.
2) it's one click to switch to another tab
3) The thumb keyboard allows you to type(entering address or filling forms)
using both thumbs while still holding the tablet. You don't have to type
using one finger to type like ipad.
4) The higher resolution on xoom means 30% more content on xoom than Ipad 2
when viewing the same page.
5) double memory on Xoom means more tab without hurting the performance. |

here. It is also about emotion. Looking at Ipad2 and xoom side by side,
which one would an average consumer choose?
The shiny, good looking, thinner and lighter one. Only geeks like us would do
extensive research, compare all the specs and deciding on what to buy.

发帖数: 978 | 23 Android phones have already caught up with Iphones since smart phones have
been out for a while. I have been using an android phone myself (nexus one).
Tablet is only out for one year. I think Android/webos tablets will
certainly catch up/exceed IPad given a few years. My feeling is that IPad 1
and 2 is a more matured product than Xoom. Xoom feels like beta product.
but the android tablets has very good potentials. I am vey excited to see
more and more tablets coming.

如果Google下一个Honeycomb OTA update发布了的话，Xoom还是比iPad2有很多优势的。
我现在就用iPad玩游戏，Xoom上网。Xoom的浏览器是现有平板最方便的浏览器了（虽然
不稳定）。但
是分页切换真是太方便了。
