Having bought a Samsung Focus last week while visiting the AT&T store intent
on purchasing an iPhone to replace the one I'd just lost (I was on iPhone
for more than 2 years,) my experience so far has been that Windows Phone 7
has the makings of one of those "viral" experiences. It's just one of those
things you have to see and use in person to "get." Being fair at the AT&T
store I decided to play with the device just to assure myself that sticking
to iPhone was the best choice. And as I stood there fiddling with the WP7
focus, I became amazed at just how extraordinarily fast, fluid and flexible
WP7 truly is. Too, the Focus' Super AMOLED screen, placed side by side with
the iPhone 4's retina Display, simply embarrassed Apple with its ability to
produce crisp, clear, beautiful images.
"But it's the Apps, stupid!" I said to myself, and headed into the Windows
Marketplace to see for myself just how grim the situation was. To my shock,
it had most of the apps I already use on my iPhone, minus GPS of course.
Still, there were tons of apps, and from what I'd read development is easy
and is going fast.
So I inquired about the return policy: 30 days. That cinched it, and I
bought, leaving Apple behind in the race for the smartphone space in my
pocket.
In the week since, I've had people oohing and ahhing over my phone as they
get their hands on it and experience how fast, beautiful and easy it is to
use the interface and find what you're looking for. I've had no less than 5
iPhone 4 owners exclaim, "Damn, I want one of those!"
Whether that'll be enough to make a dent in the market against Android and
iPhone, who knows. iPhone is the trendy device and Android is the geek/
counterculture device, but Windows Phone 7 represents something in between
those. It has its failings-lack of copy and paste or multitasking most
gratingly-but overall it's an incredible OS that works faster and allows me
to get to what I need easier than any other OS on the market. Side by side,
WP7 simply makes iOS look, well...antique | a*******y 发帖数: 128 | 2 第四段最后一句话为啥我没看懂?
