发帖数: 153 | 1 verizon快到期了，想升级到smart phone，主要是可以上网。可是问了客服，说是不能
看中文网页。这样就比较郁闷了。
不过考古了一下，有人说是可以中文显示。有些糊涂。到底可不可以呢？是不是要装什
么东西？还有，中文输入怎么才能实现？
还有那个hotspot倒是免费吗？我怎么看是按流量收费的，而且还挺贵的。为什么有人
说是是免费的呢？还有人说可以代替家里的cable internet,如果按流量收费，那不是
很贵吗？
用过的大侠请指点一下吧。谢谢。 |

hotspot是免费, up to 5G per month. Have to pay if more than that.
代替家里的cable internet, don't think so. Slower, and data limit to 5G. Of
course if you don't mind, you can.
Like my Palm Pre Plus. But not many apps. Maybe after HP release the webos
tablet, there will be tons of apps coming. |

如果可以中文显示，那我就打算买palm pre plus啦。主要是想在平时做实验等结果等
的无聊的时候用，才动心用smart phone的。我有一个ipod,平时做实验的时候，边做边
听ipod,打算买了palm pre plus就只带手机，省地方啦。
呵呵，cable我就留着啦。有时候还看看ppstream什么的，估计5G肯定超。
不过好奇5G流量是个什么概念，可以干些什么？
我也不打游戏，想不出需要什么app.所以无所谓palm app不多。而且担心app玩太多，
会不会太费电池啊？一般多长时间充一次电？
不过app多少和HP什么关系？

Chinese yet. There is a App called "My Tether", which can be used as
wireless or usb router to bypass the 5G limit. But I didn't try that (have
to donate $15 to get that).

不过我学校和家里一般都有wi-fi，可能也用不到hotspot. :) 不过感觉很好玩。

After WebOS 14, there is a mobile hotspot app. No tether required.
Apps are not only games. Some of the apps are very useful.

I can use 2-3 days for each charge (not many calls)
