住一栋房子）。轻轻问一下，这种情况下tenant有没有义务和责任铲雪？
其实我一般是不在乎的花些时间做，但是怕某些早上上课时间不够没有铲到时候又会有
纠纷（之前为了做饭，停车等有过不愉快）． |

"you" as landlord or tenant? in another word, is this a responsibility of
the property owner, or residents?

You are actually wrong about this. Just talked to several student legal
service advisers: the owners are ultimately responsible for snow removal in
New York State. However, this is a gray area of responsibility. Normally it
should be stated in the lease, if not then it's open to interpretation.
There are fines for not clearing the sidewalk in front of your property. $25
for first offense and $100 for second offense.

呵呵，只要在家那么铲是肯定会去铲的，锻炼下身体，同时也比较有趣。 做这些legal
responsibility调查就是为了防止万一某天出现争议做个准备
