The host family of a former Eastern Kentucky University exchange student says
she had recently rejected two marriage proposals from her boyfriend, who is
now charged with her murder.
Glen and Joan Kleine say they don't know if the rejections led to 24-year-old
Yan Gu's death. The coroner in Jackson County, Indiana, says an autopsy
revealed the preliminary cause of death was asphyxiation.
