Route: South Kaibab down, Bright Angel up
Lived in Bright Angel Lodge at night
4:30am: got up
5:00am: took the fist Hiker Express bus to South Kaibab trailhead
5:30am: Arrived at the South Kaibab trailhead, started hiking down, took 3L
water (Gaterade). Gust, strong wind over 30mph, temperature < 40F
5:36am: sunrise time (theoretically), but the sun was behind the heavy
clouds until 7am
6:50am: Skeleton Point (3 mile)
7:00am: Sun came out behind the clouds, started to warm up
8:30am: Touched the Colorado River, done for the 6.9 mile hiking down on
South Kaibab trail
9:00am: Arrived Phantom Ranch. Had sack lunch. Only drank 1L water (Gaterade
) so far
9:50am: Left Phantom Ranch, hiked through Colorado River campground, took 3L
water (Gaterade)
10:00am: started hiking up Bright Angel trail 9.7 mile
12:35pm: Arrived Indian Garden (half way point on Bright Angel trail).
Temparature 90F, highest on the day
1:20pm: Left Indian Garden. Hottest time of the day, dry and directly under
the sun, took 3L water (Gaterade)
2:20pm: 3 mile resthouse, took 3L water (Gaterade)
3:10pm: 1.5 mile resthouse, took 2L water (Gaterade)
4:22pm: Hiked back to Bright Angel trailhead, done for the 9.7 mile hiking
up
Summary:
total hiking time: under 11 hours, including resting time
hiking down time: 3 hours
hiking up time: 6.5 hours
Condition:
Previous weather forecast saying hot and sunny with 96F high,
but 90F is the highest on that day and most of the time the sun was behind
cloud,
so it is a good day for the hiking actually. I am lucky:)

从Bright Angel Trailhead 有Shuttle回South Kaibab 吗？

I do not know if there is any shuttle from Bright Angel to South Kaibab at
night
you can check on national park website
