发帖数: 1311 | 1 刚从大雾山回来，走到alum cave尽头才发现山顶有LeConte Lodge可以住。可惜整年度
的房间都订满了。大家知道还有哪里有类似这种，要爬几个钟头上山在山顶上可以住一
晚的lodge么？谢谢 |

than that of the Smokies. But less crowded. Other than Elizabeth Parker
Hut, which is very busy during summer time, there are always room for
another climber/hiker.
Much cheaper than Mt. LeCount but you have to bring your own food, cook your
own meals and bring your own sleeping bags.
All huts in Canadian Rockies have kitchen, pot, and pans, utensils. It has
sleeping quarter with foam pads.

美国境内有类似的么？最好像LeConte一样有床有被子，不用自己背睡袋，能一个day
hike上去，住一晚，山顶转转，第二天下山的那种。

since 2003.
If it is a US national park, the regulation restricts having buildings in
the wildness. The Smoky is an exception because it had quite a few farms
and hotels before the park was established in the 1930's. Le Count Lodge
and the other sites was "grandfathered in" via a very special legislation
signed by FDR.
BTW, Le Count is so lame. I can't imaging spending over a hundred buck to
sleep there for one night. It is not about the cost, but more about the
lack of aesthetic value.

O'Hara爬了个day trip, 从Oesa接Wiwaxy;lake louise边上那个什么tea house短短的
走了走，还真没怎么认真爬山。

（正常Swimsuit，不穿wet suit)
我知道湖都是glacier fed，但仍然抱着侥幸心理。
再有譬如黄石公园，在地热和雪水的交融区是可以游的。

Canadian Rockies有hot springs,但是泡泡而已。

这个俺去过，几年前在谷里camping过两晚，不过我只是背了个day pack,帐篷什么都是
骡子背下去的。
它家一瓶酒才10来块钱，质量是不怎么样，不过当时买了一瓶请了周围一大桌人一起喝
