，所以最好可以露营的。不一定在美国。北加出发，请推荐路线。
我们常带孩子露营，不过最冷的时候也就34度。

We thought about Costa Rica, definitely not camp-able, but end of Dec should
be dry season which means more hike-able days.
Also Yucatan is another option. Has anyone tried to camp in the Yucatan
Peninsula? What about safety outside the touristy area?
We have camped on various Hawaii Islands in the winter. It was super fun for
the kids.
Anyone has experience camping in South American countries? Any suggestion
for itinerary?
BTW, my kids are 2 and 5 year old.

有雪，在土路上开车比较危险，尤其上山。要做好充分准备。

Osa Peninsula last time I was in Costa Rica. I see that there is even a
roofed platform tenting area which is perfect for us. I'll start researching
the logistics for traveling to there this xmas.
I plan to buy tent/gear at local sport shops then ship them back to the US
before we leave the country. Has any one tried doing this before? What's the
price range for shipping roughly?

The Narrows, Bryce) and that was the days before we had kids. I have a
couple of concerns: 1. Is the weather going to be too cold/windy for camping
? Would rooftop camping with a canvas tent be a viable option? 2.if it's
too cold, we can rent a RV, but can regular 19ft RV http://www.cruiseamerica.com/rent/our_vehicles/compact_rv.aspx handel this type of terrain? Or do we need a 4 wheel drive one?
