one doesn't offer rental in this time of the year since they already packed
the equipments up.
I will definitely find some deal and get a set before next season:)

just saw a binding about half an hour ago. Saw a decend pair of skis
yesterday. I got my new pair of boots from backcountryoutlet for $310 last
week.

reliable point of view, how do you compare dynafit and Diamir bindings?
Would you please get me some advice of buying the boots as well. For ski
boots for sure I will try them on a lot in the shop before buying and buy
from local shop for boot fitting. For AT boots, does the fitting also matter
that much or I could grab a deal online depending on the feature and
compatibility to the bindings?

big concern is the flexibility when climbing rather than downhill
performance. I finally settled with a pair with low cuffs because they give
me a lot ankle flex. Scarpa tends to have high and small cuffs. After
getting the boots, you should also do a custom fitting at a local shop.
Freeride Plus is heavier and has a higher profile. It took me some time to
get used to it since I had been skiing with non lifting bindings fo

on the slope this past weekend, skinned up 4500 ft and skied down. other
than one hot spot, they feel really great, much better than my other pair
which is scarpa tornado in that they tend to accomodate my wide feet and
thick calf better. I didn't even have to take the spoiler out. I'll do a
thermo fit probably after a couple of more runs to get a more precise
feeling. Downhill performance might not be as good as some boo

backpack on, it helps to have a bent over stance.

The one I rented is also from Garmont, it has two modes for skiing too. I
never thought to use the "forward" mode though, should try it next time.

virtually any trip in your Sunday break, and still show up work on Monday:)

I could almost visualize your boarder friends suffer on rime ice and below
the tree line in the heavily wet and flat area. Skiing rocks!
Pretty sure I read somewhere (apparently wrong) that Dan did the 6 climbs;
but it's true I didn't ask him in person. Now Eric became a bigger figure :)
