发帖数: 190 | 1 After a strenuous hike on White Mountain Peak, we were doubt our ability to
make to the top of Whitney the next day. We didn't know how hard it would be
but we would just give it a try.
On 7/8/08, we woke up at 4:00 am and by 5:00 am we were on the trail. It was
still dark and we used our head lamp for about 30 min or so. It was warm
and I only had my baselayer shirt on. Very soon the sun started to rise on
the east above the mountain far away. At about 6:00 am we took a break and
