MWD LAB TECHNICIAN – OKLAHOMA CITY, OK
The MWD Technician will manufacture, repair and maintain all Measurement
While Drilling (MWD) equipment based on technical specifications and
corporate guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Service, maintain and repair all CAT equipment (surface and
downhole)
• Be the second contact for service, maintenance and repair of all
other product lines
• Assist with assembly, testing and documentation
• Create, implement and document new tool testing procedures to
improve performance and aid tracking
• Act as a technical resource for field personnel inquiries on tool
performance and aid tracking
• Maintain service database of all HTR/EM equipment
• Lab maintenance and upkeep
REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous electronics experience (or degree) or soldering
experience preferred
• One year previous experience with electronics measurement and
test results evaluation preferred
• Display a commitment to quality and ensuring equipment is
functioning properly and ready for field deployment
• Strong organizational skills and experience in keeping equipment,
tools and inventory organized, efficient and stored safely
• Ability to follow safe work practices, standard operating
procedures and policies
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work in a safety sensitive environment and comply with
pre-access and site specific health and safety requirements including:
o Fitness testing
o Drug & Alcohol testing
• Display a strong work ethic and reliability
