TULSA, Oklahoma -- Customers at the 21st and Yale Walmart in Tulsa were once
again confronted with armed officers rushing inside after a suspect
Thursday. This time, there was no gunfire. Police were after a drug suspect.

Drug agents were at the Walmart for a drug sting involving meth. Tony
McClelland, 54, was arrested inside the store.
Kathy Durbin was in the produce section.
"The first thing I heard was things knocking over and I hear him say "get
down, get down," Durbin said.
Outside, drug agents arrested Michael Newberry, 42, without incident.
He has a history of arrests dating back to 1988 for drug possession, assault
, carrying a firearm while under the influence, driving a stolen vehicle,
and intent to distribute drugs. He was last arrested in February for having
meth.
Durbin said store employees acted quickly.
"They had to actually physically go get some of the customers because they
were frozen, but they got us out the back of the store," she said.
Within just a few minutes, employees let them back in.
"I left the cart and it was weird when we came back because there were these
abandoned carts everywhere and we just picked up and finished our shopping,
" Durbin said.
A woman was knocked down during the scuffle during the arrest, which
involved tazing the suspect. She wasn't seriously hurt.
Police gathered up baggies of what they believe is meth from both suspects,
inside and outside the store. | K**7
