备要娃，lg正在排绿卡。
我那个破生物专业工作不稳定，工资还低。我琢磨着转个H4,在家准备要娃，生娃，带
娃，此期间读个护士adn（先修课＋program)，转回医疗行业（不要劝我考医师执照哈
）。可行之处在于H4不用full-time的上学，估计等我慢慢读完了，绿卡也应该有了。
可是又看到网上说现在市场上都要bsn，不要adn了。
正纠结着就看到隔壁那个“劝退”的帖子，大家帮忙来看看我应该是进还是退呢？ | g****i

nursing program, those prerequisites may expire ( programs have different
requirement for the years your prerequisites were taken).
recommend you to finish nursing quickly instead of slowly by years,
otherwise you may give up in the middle.
Why not try accelerated BSN/fast track BSN since you graduated from medical
school. It takes 12-16 months.
A lot of big hospitals , esp MAGNET hospitals ( a recognition), want BSN
only or prefer BSN. A lot BSN students could not find job right after
graduation, so ADN will have a harder time.
No green card, extremely hard to find a job since nurses can't have H1b
although someone made it but never shared their experience. I guess only
some specific positions can sponsor H1b plus some tricks. You may only work
one year by using OPT. Actually less than one year because you need to
prepare your board exam which will take some of your OPT away.
It may be hard to study nursing while trying to be pregnant or be a mom
although a lot made it. No matter you get pregnant or not during studying,
you need full support from your family esp your husband. Nursing is not easy
to graduate even with medical background in China.
Relocation may help find a job esp to a small city. But most of us want to
stay with family, which is one of reason to study nursing ( we all think we
can find a job in any city any time, but it is history)

发帖数: 436 | 3 改改真是个好人，码了这么多字。。。每个字我都认真看了，谢谢你的建议。
不选择accelerated BSN/fast track BSN的原因是目前首要打算准备要个娃，年纪也不
小了，不想再拖了。我觉得边要娃边读个ADN我还是能handle的，要是读accelerated
BSN/fast track BSN肯定handle不了。再加上还有绿卡的原因，读accelerated BSN/
fast track BSN那么快读完了我们的绿卡还没排到呢。你说的BSN VS ADN，还有工作地
点的问题都是我纠结的地方。哎。。。人生纠结啊。。。我lg说我最初就不该学医，要
是学工科多好。我说人生再回转个10年重新准备高考还差不多～～
