I graduated from community college in Dec. with ADN. Passed the Nclex in Feb
.3, and got offer in Feb. 12. Now using OPT for working.
It sounds quick here but it is not smooth about my job hunting. Had 2
interviews from hospitals before graduation but not heard from them; After
graduation, got interview from nursing home and no result. After passing
NCLEX, applied in 2 rehab centers, interviewed within next day and got these
two offers within a week. Accept one that close to home.
So I think it is easier to find a job once you pass your NCLEX exam.

补修英文来弥补吗？
上community college和上bsn的毕业后又什么区别，为啥看有的mm在社区大学读完后又
上bsn呢。

college
In most Community colleges, the nursing program is 2-year associated degree
program. so you got ADN after graduation. BSN is 4 years program.
I don't know if you need T to get into community college. I didn't. It
really depends on your school. Call them to find out. I did a english test
at my school and they decided hoe many ESL classes I needed before applying
for nursing. Usually, the school will require 12 credit hour courses before
applying. It is usually take 3 years for a ADN.

发帖数: 261 | 15 其实,我建议在社区大学读护士课的JMS, 趁早找工作,这样不必等到Nclex通过就可以做
护士工作了.
我的个人经验:第一学期结束,在一家医院找到student nurse的工作; 第二学期结束,在
另一家医院申请到了,student nurse winter internship,intern结束后就继续作为
tech工作.现在两家医院都offer,我一毕业(this Dec),就可以转为新毕业的护士,不需
要等nclex通过.
我觉得应该好好利用上学的有利条件,先把工作搞定了.当然,TECH的工作还是很辛苦的. | p*********t

发帖数: 1049 | 17 你这条路只适合有绿卡或者有工卡的吧.如果没有,是不能做student nurse,TECH
的工作的.internship也得用opt或者cpt.

那么如果用OPT做的话,OPT结束了怎么办呢?医院现在好象不给护士办工卡了吧. |
