drugs for maintain the function of his heart, including ACEi, B-blocker,
blood thinner & water pills. He is also taking Ferrous Sulfate, Folic Acid
and Multivitamin. So my question is what is the rationale that he has to
take all these multivitamins and minerals. I will highly appreciate that if
you can give me a more detail answer for each single supplement.

我的理解是，这个要看病人的整体身体状况。明显病人曾经有很严重的心脏疾病，心衰
。这可继而导致身体各器官的缺血，缺氧，功能衰退。比如，肾脏受累，血红蛋白的制
造就受到很大影响，所以要补铁。胃功能受累，就需要补充叶酸，Vb，不然会导致恶性
贫血。肠道功能受累，各种维生素吸收都减少，当然就要补充多种维生素了！
