发帖数: 145 | 1 Today, had an arguement with a CNA for a patient we have togther. The CNA
has worker here for many years and thinks herself mighty and knows
everything. We change the pt together and because she was not very gentle,
pt became aggitated and start kicking and screaming. (pt is confused). After
we finally finished change the pt, the CNA starts to c/o the pt is not
getting what he is supporsed to get( She means narcotics to knock the pt out
), I told her that the pt has been drowsy/lethargic all mon | a********n

like changing diaper and giving urinal,etc and saying" RNs SHOULD help out!"
But RNs have not gone for any break ,CNAs have gone for their long moring
tea and lunch break! | w**o
发帖数: 645 | 3 We have CP problems on our floor,too. Some CPs are very slack. Several
meetings have be done,but nothing has ever been changed. Nurses have to ask
them
to do in&out, bed change,and pt. care,which should be their routine job. I
think good relationship plays big role. I have two CP friends(Unfortunately
,I can't make more CP friends,cause I was fed up with some CPs),they are
always
there for me. They are awesome to me, but I have heard negative feedback on
them from other peers also.

发帖数: 145 | 4 Those problems with the CNA, I don't even want to mention it. Becuase it
just became normal. I empty the Foleys, do I/O if not done(and thankful if
it's done). some aids are nice but someare not. They think RN;s make the big
bucks and should do everthing. I know their job is overwhelming too(
sometimes they have 12 patients at each dayshift). And now, even worse, the
hospital is gong to lay off all the CNA's, they don't care. I don't what are
we going to do with 2 CNAs only for a 40-bed floor wi | n******7
