when I read the HESI book about diverticulitis.
Diverticulitis is the inflamation of diverticulosis. Usual symp involves abd
pain and GI bleeding. Complication is perforation. I had one pt who had the
dx of diverticulitis, and he's really c/o pain while I was his SN. I can
tell the pt was in moderate to severe pain, even tho all he did was to lie
in bed and demostrate suffering from pain. I think it's proper to give pai |
