Position Title: Sr. Java Developer
Location: Los Angeles, CA.
SCOPE:
Develops assigned portions of back-end and transactional systems that link
and enhance the interactions of several software packages and databases.
Implements activities that generally impact architecturally significant
components of the software as part of a development team for a given project
* Responsible for the development activities, including plan, define, design
, and implementation of significant software components
* Follows coding guidelines and best practice
* Integrates backend layer with the User Interface layer of the application
* Creates buildscripts for compiling and deploying code
* Participates and leads design and code reviews
* Creates and executes unit tests
* Works in geographically distributed team environment
* Helps guide all junior developers on the team
* Works with the team leadership to ensure successful, on-time completion of
all assignments
* Participates in knowledge sharing activities
* Supports scoping of new projects and work assignments
* Excellent Communication skills
Has expert knowledge of industry standard programming language with a
proficiency in Java Technologies
Java Candidate Experience:
* Experience with Java IDEs
* Expert working knowledge of Core Java (1.4 and above), JSP, Servlets,
Struts , XML, JavaScript
* Expert knowledge of JEE and core design patterns
* Expert knowledge of JEE Application Server and Web Servers
* Expert knowledge of open source frameworks, including Spring, Struts,
Hibernate, CXF | c******s
