My kids have flu shot every year when they started to go to daycare. The
firt year you will take two shots but later only one. And starting around
age 5 they can get mist instead. My little one got running nose for a couple
of days after taking the shot but not sure if it was due to the shot. And
no you don't have to take the flu shot every year.
