跟老公来bay住3个月，唐筛不得不在这里做了。
我的保险是随老公买的学校的学生保险。
问题是：
收到的bill 不是从OB的office 来的，而是从california health department来的。
他们要求我先pay the total， 然后他们再send claim 去我的保险公司。
以前从来没有这么pay过medical bill，bill的数目不小，不知道是不是该真的自己先
pay全部。
请问加州的美妈们你们是怎么pay唐筛bill的？也是先pay 给政府，然后get refund吗
？
加州的好多规矩真的和别州的不同啊。 |

我第一次交了保险信息，他们又寄了一个账单，我问了跟我一样保险的，说属于我们的
deductible ($400),要交的。 |

again, send again. I did it twice and they finally billed my insurance.
Seems there is a delay in their process and their automatic system just send
the bill automatically.

should be on top of the bill. |

发帖数: 752 | 8 联系你的保险公司，看你的OB是不是已经把claim发给他们。如果保险公司已经知道了
这个CLAIM，看保险公司cover多少来决定你付给政府多少。一般是都cover的，保险公
司付一部分，加州政府付一部分，通常由保险公司先承担全额账单，然后保险公司再和
加州政府扯皮要钱。千万不要自己先都付了，否则保险公司和政府两头不认的话只能自
己承担这个账单。如果保险公司不知道，也要问清楚他们的coverage，然后让
california health department直接跟保险公司联系，不要让自己成为中间人，这个付
多少和由谁付的问题让保险公司和加州政府扯皮决定，不要把你自己拉进去。。 |

information and send it back to them. Don't pay anything up front if you don
't think you should pay, as soon as the money goes out, it's much more
difficult to get it back.. |

发帖数: 40 | 10 一般是寄回保险，州政府向保险公司要钱，保险不付，再向个人收费。
我也打过电话，基本不可能接通，因为打电话的人太多了，我几次都是等了10分钟后被
自动挂断。我后来留了电话和账号让他们打回来。过了很长时间（1--2周），他们给我
回了电话。电话里那个工作人员告诉我，他们账单的处理严重滞后。我寄回去的保险表
格可能要很久之后才会被处理。
在电话里又要了保险信息，当时就file claim. 这样我就不会收到重复的账单了。
我在打电话之前受到过2个账单，第2个是重的。我觉得他们的系统会定期自动发胀单。
如果你寄过去保险信息还没有被处理，那应该不用理会重复的账单。
