围内，须开车）。住哪好呢？老婆的要求是最好她的Commute能短点。东边最远可以接
受的是Forest Hills。曼哈顿的2BR太贵养车也太贵。 现在重点考虑的是Long Island
City。请大家帮忙提提建议。有用的建议包子答谢。

to
Manhattan and both have relatively plentiful parking with quick highway
access.

midtown. Traffic is bad all the time from FH to Great Neck. It moves
smoothly after the exit of GN. So GN could be another choice. It has train
to penn station as fast as 25mins in the morning rush hours and you can take
subways to midtown in 10-15mins. BTW, I live at GN now and commute to
midtown little less than an hour DTD.

Quiet,easier to find parking, get on LIE or GCP to Nassau; to Midtown by E,
F, or LIRR train,
Also, it might be a bit cheaper than Forest
Hills.

发帖数: 2564 | 13 You can take the LIE (or Grand Central Parkway to Northern State).
Going against traffic is not too bad compare to going into the city, but
there is still some morning traffic. Also: you are going against sun light,
so there will be some stop and go.
