W*N 发帖数: 1354 | 1 I was given a "holding cell phone" ticket, charge number 1225d. It is a
ticket for 150 dollars and 3 points. I am thinking of fighting the ticket,
because I think it was unjustified. See my earlier post

Anyone has fighten a ticket before at the Traffic Violation Bureau (TVB)? Is
there any downside to fight it? Should I hire a lawyer (how much would that
cost?)?
Thanks! |

- Get an official copy of your detailed phone and text bills
- TVB is not court of law, you have no rights and are guilty until proven
otherwise
Keep these in mind and you may have a chance |

you are not optimistic about the chance of winning?
thank you

evidence, questioning witness, etc. If you have the official phone call
list that proves you have no calls at the time, you might have a chance.
Of course you will have to pay court cost etc., if you lose.
