its the same car, but the total cost is about $2k - $3k cheaper. YOu would
pick the car in germany, drive it around and then put it on a boat to be
shipped to the US and pick it up in your city.
because its $2k - $3k cheaper, it would pay for the round trip ticket to
europe, and have a vacation there.. only bmw, audi, porsche and mb have
that option. its not possible for VW.

but even including tax, the price is about $2k - $3k cheaper... you buy
directly from the maker, cutting out the dealer, hence, cheaper..
