Although turkeys were their prized and favorite pets
Although they adored those big birds.
The Indians fed the newcomers with these lovely and sacred pets so they can
survive the harsh winter.
When spring finally came. The first things that jumped at people with a lot
of joy for the warm weather was a bunch of little dogs.
From that moment on. Dogs replaced turkeys and became the #1 pets. Eating
dogs would gradually become more and more unsavory.
But those turkeys. Poor!
