也就是 discipline是教条 我是老师 我说什么就是什么 不许给我顶嘴
manage就是老师从中协调 还是学生自控能力好一些的

Discipline: Punish; Control gained by enforcing obedience or order
Then the meaning of the original sentences couldn't get any clearer.
当然如果你是写如何manage/displine的论文，那另当别论。

topic to be discussed in the classroom and well in control of the classroom
and the situations. Both teacher and students are actively engage in the
classroom. Even if the students are little off the topic, the teacher is
very effective in leading/guiding students back to the topic. It could also
means that the teacher is well prepared or over prepared for unexpecdted
circumstances that could arise in the classroom.
while DISCIPLINE in this case, it's more like the teacher is well preopared
of the topic but the students are not and not showing much interests. As a
result, it leads to no active engagement between teacher and students.

management就像前面说的因势利导 让事情有条不紊的发展~ 比如兴趣小组啊 互助小组
