是当boss无意中看到我穿的白色袜子，马上拉我到他的办公室，语重心长地对我说：it
's totally inappropriate to wear white socks while wearing black shoes with
formal suite. Should wear black or dark socks instead." 我有点无地自容，觉
得自己很土的样子。
今天早上见到boss,他又跟我接着聊起dress code方面的话题，听了以后又把我吓出;一
身冷汗。他说：it's also inappropriate to wear socks while wearing sandles,
or you will be called "shoebee". 回想起来到纽约后即将过去的这个夏天，我外出
穿了无数次的sandles with socks，形迹曾经遍布于纽约的大街小巷（包括subway,
department stores, restaurants,...), 肯定被无数人心里 |
