大家好！我是LIA TX chapter 的成员之一。 相信大家都已经收到了近期LIA的工作报
告，对Recapture修正案有所了解。现在LIA总部号召大家紧急行动起来，争取身边更多
的人给执政议员打电话来支持这个修正案。这个修正案和我们每个华人的利益息息相关
，它的成功通过将给我们每个人的移民之路带来巨大的变革和利益，请不要轻易放弃真
个千载难逢的机会！
今天晚些时候，我会给你们每个身在LA的成员打电话做详细的解释。 下面是关于这次
行动的详情和有关的信息。谢谢你们的参与！
Recapture修正案：
重量级的伊拉克补充拨款法案上周对各种与战争无关的修正案大开绿灯，一时间，各种
修正案纷纷出台，都想搭上这趟快车。在微软和LIA游说势力的推动下，参议员Murray
的修正案：recapture 218,500绿卡名额（for EB ONLY）于5月15日成功地赢得了参议
院拨款委员会(Appropriation Committee)全体支持。下周（不推迟的话）就要在参议
院进行投票。它需要3/5票（60 票）通过。

or community Chinese maillist to encourage more people to pick up the phone
to call the senators office? This recapture bill will not only benefit
those currently stuck in the green card process, but also anyone who just
started the first step of green card application and any future applicants.
We especially need support from small states where Chinese are under-
