看上一个房子，别的都还满意，但是好像下大雨地下室有一边会潮？见下文。不知道是
不是个严重问题，会影响地基啥的么？这个好修么（比如换个gutter不行么？）要不要
walk away呢？
我们问的是房子在不在flood zone，以及地下室进没进过水。卖方的信息如下.
House is not in a flood zone. Basement on driveway side of basement (where
pool table is) got damp when gutters were clogged on driveway side
我们又让中介去问这个是不是经常发生。回答如下
it does not happen very often at all. There was heavy rain last night and
the basement was bone dry. What the sellers have told me is that the issue
with regard to the side of the basement has happened maybe 5 times since
they've owned the house (they've owned it over 20 years). This has only
happened when the gutters have gotten clogged - their gardener cleans the
gutters every fall. Whenever this did happen, the wall closest to the
driveway was damp. There weren't any puddles or anything. |
