我在一丁字路口右转, 有stop sign, 我 full stop, 等一直行的车过， 我看左边直行
的车较远， 才右转的. 这时候一辆警车（与我反方向）看见了我, pull me over. 他
说我 stop sing 没停, 我解释说我的确停了， 只是有在里面一点. 然后他又说，
即便如此， 你没有让左边直行道上开来的车.
he give me a ticket, saying he gave me less harsh ticket for " careless
driving " instead of " fail to stop". when I go home and read the ticket,
the police choose 4-81 (Failure to observe signal), not what he claimed 4-97
( careless driving).
my question is this signal means "traffic signal"? this is a丁字路口, no
traffic light.
also on ticket, he wrote wrong street name, the street name he wrote on the
ticket is NOT the road I am with, it is the next street name?
my question is if 4-81 (Failure to observe signal) has point? if so, how
much?
also should I go to court appeal it? how to argue 没有让左边直行道上开来的车

the same STOP sign as the one you drove, then, it does not help at all if
you bring up that police's mistake.

....stop sign, yield等路面上的标识都算signal， 而不是特指信号灯

I heard taking online course can remove points, does anybody has that

since the stop sign on the T-road is a bit back ( about 1.5m distance from
the 直行道) and next to the stop sign, there is a store building, and Police
come opposite direction relative my right turn direction, I don't think he
can see me when I stopped back since the store block his view, so when I
told him I did stop but stop sign is kind of back, he then say even so,
there are cars coming from my left side 直行道,so when he gave me the ticket
, he tried to explain that he didn't give me " fail to stop at stop sign"
but gave less serious one, but from the link above, looks like no difference
between " failure to stop at stop sign" and " failure to observe signal",
both are 85$ and 2 point. | P*********t

美國人開車比較像我， 粗魯一點。 停在路口， 遠遠超過STOP sign 和白線.
條子早就適應了以路口停車為準。
老老實實停在白線， 再騷騷往前，緩緩右轉被罰的人太多了。
學會停在右轉的當口，life will be easier.
