再说，在它们卖掉之前，也不是一点税都不交。。。
从长远看，一个走下坡的公司离开其实是个好事情。。
前两年内部传出来的site环境污染的事情，不知道他们准备怎么搞。。

impact on the neighboring housing market will be ABSORBED.
(the flip side is when major company suddenly MOVES IN )
case by case, the absorption itself needs to be understood and studied.
otherwise, you know, you won't know what hit you.
someone was saying Summit is doomed due to Merck situation. that's fear.

让Summit走下坡路很难回转的主要还是在Overlook Hospital东边。。。

很多类似的大楼空上几年， 就改公寓了，那summit的苦头就来了。
改了公寓，应该很受欢迎。

大公司在一个地方，绝对不只是交税。因为有大公司/学校在，所以旁边就有餐馆，咖
啡馆，有食品超市。这样本地的居民就有工作，就会安居乐业。
5000个员工离开一个地方，对餐饮和零售业打击是巨大的，特别是交通发达，收入和人
力资源偏高的地方。最后summit就会像诸多NJ铁路沿线的小镇一样，变成一个彻彻底底
居民都在其他地方上班和购物的dorm town。
中部的很多dorm town我白天非午餐时间路过，路上行人和车辆都不怎么看到，一片死
气沉沉的样子。
