标 题: laptop连hdtv，看youtube没声音

I'm connecting my laptop to an HDTV with an HDMI cable. I don't get audio
from any video streaming website such as youtube or youku. But the audio
works fine for anything else (e.g. if I use a media player on the laptop).
any idea as to what could be wrong? Thanks. |

by the way, the audio is fine on TV when I run a media player or iTune. it
just doesn't work for those video streaming websites. so apparently the HDMI
cable is working. and i doubt it is because of lack of an audio cable.

发帖数: 584 | 10 Not true. The benefit of using HDMI cable is the same one cable can carry
both audio and video signal to the TV. You do not need a separate audio
cable. Although not every LapTop or TV has the HDMI output/input connection
available. If the connection is available, it should carry both.
For the original message poster, you may want to check the settings in
Control Panel--> Sound and Audio Devices to see if anything looks possible
the cause.
Another thing you can try is to connect the HDMI cable and turn on the TV
then reboot the PC. In some situations, PC detect the existence of a live
HDMI cable when the system booting.

go to control pannel-->audio--> 你会看到有两个选项，一个是speaker(laptop),
一个是你的HDTV的brand(LG，sonny, samsung, etc),--> default HDTV(select),
这样你就设置声音从ＨＤＴＶ出来，而不是ｌａｐｔｏｐ． |

gotten any audio on my TV at all.
Again, my only issue is with those video streaming website... it is so weird.

ｆｒｅｓｈ一下，或关掉重开，没准有用。 |

发帖数: 923 | 18 这首先要升级显卡的驱动程序，开启AUDIO over HDMI。
然后要开启音频选项里面的SPDIF，可以先测试22.4KHZ， 48KHZ等音频信号看看能不能
在电视上出信号。 |

不行的话，再把flash禁用了，youtube会自动fallback到html5。如
果html5有声音的话，说明你flash有问题。

this does the trick. after updating the driver, the HDMI audio device showed
up in the control panel. thanks!

on my sound control panel. it shows Digital Audio (not plugged in).
how to fix that?
Do i need to restart my machine?

2. Ensure connection is secure.
3. If it's HDMI cable, then you need to change setting on the laptop, you
have to select the source of the sound. Right Click the volume icon on your
bottom right hand corner then click sounds. Select the appropriate one
correspond to your HDMI connection.
4. If you're using standard VGA (Blue connector), then the source of sound
is your laptop.
