我老父亲是绿卡，但没有保险也不够资格申请Medicaid，最近血压有些偏高150/100，
请问大家有啥好建议在这儿医治，有没有医生推荐，谢谢。 |

The only thing a doctor would do initially is probably prescribe Tricor. If
lipids reading is HIGH.
If a doc does a lot more than what i put here. I would like to know the doc

BP 150/100 should be put on hypertension medication, period.
some chinese doc in city take patients who have no insurance and they
negotiate. don't delay coz uncontrolled hbp put ppl at increased risk of
heart attack and stroke.. |

发帖数: 407 | 8 血压高 is so common... Even I am 33, and my reading was around 138/87. My
family doctor still prescribed me some low dosage of "water pill"
hydrochlorothiazide to drive some extra water out of the body to lower blood
pressure.
My in-law was on ACE inhibitors lisinopril. I heard that it can lower the chance to have a heart attack, but he stopped due to cough too much. That's a common side affect for lisinopril.
Both of them are prescribed drugs requires a prescription. Generic drugs for
them weren't expensive at all. My "water pill" was like $10 for 3 months
even without insurance.
Brooklyn 8ave's Chinese doctor usually charge around $60 for Office Visit
without insurance. Some better one may charge around $100 per visit or so.
You should really bring your father to see a Licensed MD to do a checkup. (
The costly part may be a blood test once per year or so that may cost you a
few hundreds. But it is really necessary to prevent anything bad.) |

控制低压比较重要
