I am still confusing. I feel my marriage license is the certified copy. Why
do I need to certify that again?
So, do you think I can bring my original marriage certificate to the bank
and ask them to stamp on that? And then bring that to New York consulate?
Anyone know details?
I already checked the New York consulate website, and it is not very clear
for this specific situation. I called them and the phone can not get through
; I emailed them and no reply.

你手上已经是英文的结婚证了，所以在美国，这个东西应该到处都可以用，根本不用公正
如果你想弄个中文的，别在这里搞了，回去领个结婚证算了。

spoken from their mouth can be retraced back, so anything they say over the
phone is just crap.
