发帖数: 528 | 2 Well, I think Mike is safe for now. I think the game showed a lot of
characters of players. I admire the players persistence. We got very lucky
at the end (dropped INT and forced OB call). Otherwise, things will be very
differently.
One thing I still believe is talent and resource are not a problem for the
Big Red. Coaching is missing. This game shows how good we can be and where
we can be when playing hard and backed to the wall. Moving forward, I still
doubt Mike is the guy. I will still put the staffs under my microscope.
Staffs need to show me they can win the next two games and make a bowl to
prove that the worst days are behind. We have not played consistent at all
this year. We will see if SMU game is a dead cat bounce or real come back.
Despite the win, I can still not make sense out of the losses. Every game we
loss this season, feel the other team out coached us. Their play calling is
much better. Until I see we did better than most of the opponents, I am in
doubters' camp.
Do not say Iowa is hard to beat. They come to our house and we can spoil
their hope for perfect regular season.
BTW, thanks for bearing through with me. I know I have been very excited on
the forum.
If we can beat IOWA, I will share the steamed dumplings I got today to
people on the forum.
