中国人民大学物理系（http://physics.ruc.edu.cn/）成立于2005年9月，是一个与国际接轨的研究型物理系，建立了理论物理、凝聚态物性实验研究、原子分子物理与量子信息、量子多体计算方法、材料计算与物质模拟、量子关联功能材料、光电信息功能材料、以及基于统计物理(复杂系统和金融物理)的交叉学科等八个研究团队；拥有一批优秀的中青年人才，已（正）建有以谱学为主的凝聚态物性研究实验室、高性能并行计算实验室、关联电子材料实验室和光电信息功能材料实验室；建系以来，中国人民大学物理系已经形成了良好科研氛围与环境，承担着一批国家级重大科研项目，产生了一批有国际影响的重要研究成果。
中国人民大学一直致力于建立一个国际一流的物理系，竭诚欢迎在相关前沿研究领
域的优秀中青年学者与专家加盟，并全力协助与支持优秀人才申请中组部千人计划和青
年千人计划，配备优厚的条件。近期，我们正在量子多体计算、介观物理、量子信息、
生物物理和材料物理等研究方向引进6名左右的优秀青年人才，组织申请下一期的青年
千人计划（7月份）。

研究成果清单（正式发表的学术论文论著及引用情况，主持或主要参与的科研项目，学

The Department of Physics，Renmin University of China, Beijing, invites
applications for tenured/tenure-track faculty positions in the areas of
condensed matter physics, atomic-molecular and optical physics, quantum
information, computational physics, biophysics and material physics, field
theory, astrophysics and cosmology, and postdoctoral positions in the fields
of condensed matter physics, computational physics, quantum information,
material physics and related area. We have about 6 open position of tenured
and tenure-track faculty for “youth talent plan” applications. The
applications will be reviewed regularly as they are received. We note that
international applicants are also welcome to apply and will be equally
considered.
We are also seeking exceptional candidates for distinguished chair
professors, tenured full/associate professors, as well as tenure-track
associate professors. Candidates should have a Ph.D in a relevant discipline
, an outstanding record of research accomplishments, and the capability to
lead a research group comprised of postgraduate and postdoctoral students,
to establish a strong and independent research program and to teach
effectively at all levels. The individual’s work experience and research
performance will determine the position offered. In particular, candidates
applying for position of distinguished chair are expected to be
internationally influential in a relevant discipline.
Applicants for postdoctoral positions should possess a Ph.D in a relevant
discipline acquired in the past 2 years, a substantive record of research
accomplishments, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty
members in the department.
All newly hired faculty members will be provided the necessary startup
resource and research infrastructures. Annual salaries for above faculty
positions range from 300K to 500K RMB (equivalent to US$45,000-75,000).
Salaries for distinguished chair professors are negotiable. Postdoctoral
fellows will be provided an annual stipend ranging from 100K to 200K RMB (
equivalent to US $15,000-30,000), based on individual’s experience and
research performance.
