标准和决策过程不透明，很多球队都是在最后一刻才知道自己被选上了，或落选了。
我看了一下 d1baseball.com 上的讨论，对入选球队的争议有：
1. Northeastern 选上了，Kentucky 却落选了。
Kentucky 对强队的战绩好于Northeastern，但是在联赛内部的战绩很差。 根据
d1baseball 上的讨论：
The Huskies （Northeastern） got in because of their No. 35 RPI, and their
regular-season CAA championship — committee chairman Ray Tanner said on
ESPNU’s selection show that this committee is really emphasizing conference
standings.
“That is a trend we’re looking at,” Tanner said. “You’ll notice a team
like Northeastern won their conference.”
