Football跟Basketball不一样，Basketball各个位置都可能是核心，但是Football最重
要的位置永远是QB，其他联盟跟SEC竞争也只能靠这个，因为其他各个位置的最好球员
的recruiting，你是肯定拼不过SEC那些球队的，那些球队几乎把football当religion
，如果没有不择手段就是try不够hard。
“I do diminish the weight of recruiting rankings, quite honestly, and I don
’t make any apologies about it. I know I coached at TCU and we finished No.
2 in the country and we beat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl and we had a bunch
of NFL players on our team that were not big-time recruits. Andy Dalton was
not a big-time recruit. We beat UTEP on Andy Dalton coming out of high
school. So anyway, I’ve seen it work with a good program and good player
development and great evaluation.
“BUT, the very top players in the country, you can tell they’re different.
It doesn’t take a particularly skilled eye to pick out those people. My
point is, there’s a huge number of guys underneath the top 50 players in
America, where it’s a whole new ballgame. Differentiating those players is
virtually impossible. Ranking those players is a stretch, and trying to
figure out who’s going to be better in three years out of those players
down the line is a difficult task, for everybody. Not just the recruiting
ranking people, but the coaches. That’s why when you watch the NFL draft,
there are people taken from everywhere.”
“To me the difference is the quarterback,” he said. “When you have a
quarterback, or good quarterback play – he doesn’t have to be a first-
round draft choice – it can equal the playing field. | Y******e

得堆数量。不过好的QB加play call的确可以掩饰很多差的OL play。但是对上巴马的防
守照样玩不转。 | r***x
