Kelly打工了。现在这个新的O-line coach是从Miami过来的，水平不怎么样啊。

08/10/2013， TUSCALOOSA — A drawback to the Alabama football team’s
success with three national titles in four years is an unstable coaching
staff.
Since the Crimson Tide is doing so well, that means the coaches are doing a
good job developing and recruiting players.
Other colleges can’t buyout coach Nick Saban, so they go after his
assistants and hope they learned all his tricks of the trade.
Saban is breaking in three new coaches this season, but he has grown
accustomed to rebuilding his coaching staff before creating a new team each
year.
New to the staff are offensive line coach Mario Cristobal, receivers coach
Billy Napier and secondary coach Greg Brown.
“At each and every position it’s a real positive,” Saban said. “That’s
not to say the guys we had in the positions before didn’t do a good job.
They did. They were rewarded for it because they got better jobs, and that’
s what you want your coaches to do.”
Saban has been in the business long enough to have many connections when he
’s looking to fill out his staff.
And he has a long list of applicants hoping to impress him. However,
accolades alone don’t get you hired at Alabama.
“Knowledge and experience are really important, people look for that,”
Saban said. “I also look for people who are a good fit for us. How they fit
in with the coaches on staff, how they get along with people.”
Prospective assistant coaches must be relationship builders. They must work
well with the administration and inspire the players.
“What’s right for us is people who do it the Alabama way,” Saban said. “
People want to do it how they do it, how they had success before. We want
people to come here and do it like we do it. Unless we are looking for
someone to come in and change something, we bring in people to do what we do
.”
Cristobal was an important hire. He teaches the blocking technique and
scheme to all the linemen at the various stages of development.
His journey here was unconventional. He started out as an assistant coach at
Miami (1998-2000, 2004-06) and Rutgers (2001-03), and was a head coach at
Florida International (2007-12) before making the move to Tuscaloosa.
