Redshirt freshman quarterback Joel Stave will get his first start for
Wisconsin on Saturday against UTEP, Badgers coach Bret Bielema confirmed
after practice Thursday.
Stave replaced Danny O'Brien in the second half of last week's win against
Utah State, completing 2 of 6 passes for 15 yards in a 16-14 win.
O'Brien transferred to Wisconsin from Maryland. He has completed 44 of 71
passes with three touchdowns and an interception in three games for
Wisconsin (2-1), which lost to Oregon State on Sept. 9 and has scored just
49 points this season. |

is better to develope a new QB for future.

I see no reason abandon this season. The QB is not great, but still OK.
and with some luck in CCG u badger beat Michigan, then Rose bowl will be
next...
