e*******g 发帖数: 415 | 1 In the latest BCS standings, the South Carolina Gamecocks are ranked ninth.
A very generous spot considering they did not look like a Top 10 team last
Saturday in Knoxville.
With all that being said, the Gamecocks have an opportunity to play for the
SEC Championship and yes, even the National title. Before you say this guy
is stupid or delusional, just hear me out.
South Carolina is currently ranked in the Top 10 nationally and has a
matchup with the Arkansas Razorbacks this weekend. If the Gamecocks can
leave Fayetteville with a victory on Saturday, the garnet and black could
move up to sixth in the rankings.
As long as they do not trip up against Florida or the Citadel at home, they
would be 10-1 going into the game versus Clemson, a hated rival.
When the two in-state rivals meet on November 26th, South Carolina could be
ranked in the Top 5 and Clemson should be in the Top 10. A win against the
Tigers would put Carolina’s record at 11-1 and give them a chance to play
for the SEC crown in Atlanta. The Gamecocks would play either LSU or Alabama
, the most likely choices to represent the SEC West.
The Tigers and the Crimson Tide meet in Tuscaloosa this weekend in the much
hyped division matchup. Some people are even calling the collision “the
game of the century."
If the Gamecocks can do the unthinkable and defeat the SEC West
representative, the South Carolina faithful could be packing their bags for
New Orleans.
By the end of the year, the Gamecocks would have three wins over Top 10
opponents and have a record of 12-1. They would be a one-loss SEC Champion
playing in the Mercedes Benz Superdome for the crystal ball.
The only thing left for South Carolina to do now is win. | t***a 发帖数: 7982 | 2 to be honest, both USCe and Ark are overrated and will be exposed later. | c********n 发帖数: 4762 | |
