他参加了，果然也安心了，竟然只出钱，从来不问中奖没有，他说相信我们不会黑他的

December 28 -- Jeannette French might dispute the notion of the Villages as
America’s friendliest hometown. The 72-year-old missed the one day of work
at the community’s Hacienda Hills Golf and Country Club golf shop when
seven co-workers finally hit it big in the Florida lottery.
Since her absence may cost French a share of the $16 million winning ticket,
she sued to prevent her colleagues from divvying up the jackpot, according
to ABC News. Her argument? For nine years she contributed her weekly dollar
to a communal pool of cash the golf shop gang used to buy lottery tix, with
the tacit understanding that someone would put up the dough for a missing
person, French’s lawyer told ABC News.
"She had communication with one of the other employees who said he would put
in a dollar for her," said Tom Culmo. "Employees would routinely cover for
each other. She paid back the dollar Thursday morning, and she was given the
ticket to check to see if they had won.”
French saw that it was a winner and returned it. “She wasn't worried if she
handed back the ticket she wouldn't be part of the group," Culmo said.
The Hacienda Hills Seven played hardball, however. The employees claimed
French had not contributed and refused to cut her in on the take. So, French
sued to stop the lottery from dispensing the funds, ABC News said.
The court okayed a temporary halt to the distrubution until the warring
parties can reach an agreement. If the group opts for the $9 million cash
option, each winner would come out about $1.3 million (before taxes) richer,
and $1.1 million wealthier if they cut French a share, according to reports
