发帖数: 3809 | 6 Andrew Luck's family is well off but not really rich. His father Oliver
Luck
spent 5 years in the NFL (mostly as a backup) in the early 80's. NFL
salaries
were a lot lower back then. After his NFL career was over, Oliver Luck
earned a J.D. from U of Texas law school and practiced law for some years
before becoming a sports executive. Oliver Luck is currently the AD at
U of West Virginia.
Of course, compared to guys like Thomas, Masoli, and Newton, Andrew Luck
had a much better environment growing up.

I have read some similar ones about high school/college football players
raised by single mother overcoming all difficulties and adversities. Some so
touching that brought tears in my eyes.
This Monday, I'll have my eyes on this Darron. May best team win. |
