The San Francisco 49ers have gotten permission to talk to Oakland Raiders
offensive coordinator Hue Jackson about their head coach opening.
Raiders senior executive John Herrera said Tuesday the team granted the
Niners permission and that owner Al Davis is happy for Jackson. The request
was first reported by ESPN.
The Niners fired Mike Singletary with one week left in the season. They have
not publicly hired a general manager. Team president Jed York said that
would be his first step before hiring a coach.
Jackson oversaw a vast improvement of the Raiders offense in his first
season in Oakland. The Raiders more than doubled last year's scoring output.

Associated Press that the San Francisco 49ers have asked permission to talk
to Oakland Raiders offensive coordinator Hue Jackson about their head coach

The person confirmed the request on condition of anonymity because neither
team made it public. It was first reported by ESPN.

发帖数: 20256 | 11 i don't think john elway can lure him. our AD is his teammate while in michigan. i just think JH will just put his offers on the table, and go with his heart. Whether NFL or NCAA. If NFL, which team is better fit for him. If NCAA, whether Michigan or Stanford.
Luck is gone, no matter what. I think both Luck and JH handle this with class both before and after the game. |
