Its based on a tweed deluxe design. Swap out 6V6 for 6L6 plus other mods.
Higher voltages and so on.
It goes to around 30-40Watts vs the original sub 20w tweed.
I will also build a solid state preamp in front of the power section.
Basic idea is to have a very clean amp at home level and good for plugging
anything like simulators, iphone, ipad into it. lol.
Still tweaking it these days. happy weekend. |

Only own a tiny terror for a short while. But those tubes looks cool!
I also used to have a atom reactor tube cab, paired with my x3L, but sold it
later to finance my purchase of axe. |

发帖数: 379 | 4 The atomic reactor is ok for some applications. But i found it lifeless in
many cases. Probably due to the stock speaker but I don't wanna spend time
figure it out now. Will put it on craiglist. Here it's just used as a
foundation. I hook up the amp to an EVM12L and pretty happy about it.
Every player should consider trade in a tube amp of any kind. I've used many
simulators and they just don't have the organic feel to it.
Never own an axe though and it sounds great to me in demos. Probably a good
tool to keep but nothing replaces a nice tube amp. |

发帖数: 786 | 6 axe fx is simulation. You should try a Kemper Profile Amp which clone the
amps sound. If not 100%, it's about 99.99% close to the original one. In
many cases, even the amp makers themsevles can't tell the difference. I like
to try a KPA, but for now. Axe Fx suits me better.
Atomic Amp now has a new product called CLR Active Cab, which based on
review is much better than the atomic reactor series. And the average wait
time is about 3-6 months!! |

你在washington？直接过去拿不是很好？
warmoth质量是很好的。
大多数tru oil都是用在neck上的。

你不需要gloss的漆话，tru oil就可以了. 其实tru oil也可以弄成gloss, 但是要花很
多时间一层层上。
我现在一般是用tru oil做sealer。因为它可以把木纹显露出来。然后外面喷nitro. |

The founder Tony worked for warmoth and they do a better job. U can
personally talk to him if u want. advantage of warmoth is that they offer
whole lots of options to choose from. |

They r very good. made in Japan.
oh, i recall one catch regarding neck besides their quality differences:
USACG and musikraft do do crowning on their frets. Warmoth and allparts don'
t do that. Neck frets without crowning mean its sharp to ur palm. sometime
they r still playable but need some more extra professional work to make it
perfect. |

though Warmoth doesn't do that, their neck edges r round enough so it still
can play.
Actually not that bad. its just up to u.
Allparts r pretty sharp though. its such a letdown since their quality is so
good.
