发帖数: 482 | 4 Yes, I heard that Pandora.com is developing “Music Genome Project”.
Basically every song in their library is assigned 250 or so “genes’, in
terms like melody, lyrics, harmony, rhythm, sound etc. Then it uses
computers to sort them into database. I think you can call it “Machine
Listening" with a human touch:))
I was wondering how the algorithm selects songs to play for a radio station
set up by a user. I do find its selections interesting and it definitely
broadened my listening, without offendi

发帖数: 482 | 7 No, not al all. Their approach is just opposite. Their approach is to ignore
the "crowd", at least they claimed so. They try to figure out what you like
to listen, not what you think you should like, or what you think your cool
friend or hot girlfriend would like:))) That's where the "music genes" come
to life: it's internal, not "social".

首歌的genome, 搞了700,000多首.
编曲，很大一个工程啊。这个公司的ceo也是玩band的。
