hmm. any harmony book should do.. There is Jazz theory book by Mark Levine
that is very good.. but it assumes you have some basic understanding of
harmonies.. intervals.. reading sheet music..
like.. what do you wanna learn beerdang? how to read sheet music? how to
construct chords?
I think able to read sheet music, understand all of the symbols plus basic
harmony theories that would allow you to analyze chords should be enough for
jazz at least.. more than enough for rock.. blues.. hmm.. it can
