Martin Freeman has taken a swipe at the American version of Sherlock –
Elementary – by calling Lucy Liu a dog.
While promoting new movie The Hobbit, the British star was asked what he
thought of the American take on the famous detective.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Freeman – who plays Bilbo in the
Lord of the Rings prequel – joked, “I’ve seen bits of it. I met Lucy Liu
at the Emmy’s who was charming, but very ugly. She’s a dog, come on, she
’s a very unattractive woman. But she was really really charming and I
wish them all the best.” He also adds that he is ‘of course’ the ‘
prettier’ Watson, saying, “I’m the original glamour of Watson. And then
they get Lucy Liu of all people to try to bring some f****ng glamour in.”
The 41-year-old was also asked when he will resume production on Sherlock
series 3.
“March, I believe. And that breaks off for me to come back to Middle Earth
and then we resume after Middle Earth. We do [have more reshoots] and we
got them anyway when it was two films, and now it’s three films so there’s
additional filming on top of that.”
‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ releases worldwide today, and stars
Freeman along with his Sherlock co-star Benedict Cumberbatch, Ian McKellen,
Cate Blanchett, Richard Amitrage, and Andy Serkis. | a****c

《福尔摩斯：演绎法》试播集，彻底颠覆了他们的期望。华生真的是一个女人，而且为
了配合人物形象，名字由“约翰-华生”改成了“琼-华生”。如此突破性的“创意”，
