"Avatar" is not simply a sensational entertainment, although it is that. It'
s a technical breakthrough. It has a flat-out Green and anti-war message. It

Not true. The main character clearly said that on earth they are "freedom
fighters" while in Pandora they are just hiring guns. This means whatever
wars they are fighting on earth are justified.
I just shook my head and smile when I hear this during the movie.

maybe. same words can have different meaning dependent on your stand. I
think the majority of american people support the war, as long as the
casualty is small and benefit is huge.

其实说Jake是人类叛徒是有道理的.剧本里面有更详细的背景.人类摧毁了自然.Jake和神树的对话说明了他就是反人类的,认为人类得逞肯定要毁了Pandora.不过他并不是要去消灭人类.而是只是要阻止人类毁灭pandora.
