Maybe it is because they need to verify your identity. I'm applying for
chase marriortt, and was transferred to chase fraud for verification. Was on
phone more than 6 hours (3 tries and all got dropped) today, still could
not talk to chase fraud yet. Their service is terrible now.

email确认申请通知批准，卡也还未收到。Chase现在做事太诡异了

发帖数: 977 | 6 I called again this morning, and finally talked to someone after 2 to 3
hours' waiting. They only asked if I did apply and I said yes, and then
asked for my phone number and texted me a code. After I repeated the code,
the card was approved.
Not sure what triggered this verification. Maybe I was using VPN through
another state when I applied the card.
